We are committed to giving you the best that the roofing industry has to offer.

We are so confident in our roofs, we guarantee all new works up to 20 years against workmanship and material defects giving you peace of mind. Your roof is one of the most important structural elements of your home. Without a structurally sound, leak free roof, your home is at risk of damage from wind, rain, snow and the associated consequential damages of penetrating damp, rot and condensation.

Regular roof repairs and maintenance can save costs and unwanted surprises in the long term. Keeping your roof prepared for the inclement weather we can all suffer in an ever changing climate. We take pride in our first class portfolio and understand that we are only as good as our last job.

About Us
Report
As a roofing specialist I, Angus Young have been in the roofing industry for almost 30 years.
I have gained extensive knowledge and experience both in the United Kingdom and abroad.
Different materials, design, types of roof coverings and renovations are my speciality.
Now settled in Scotland with my wife and family, in 2005 we set up our family run business, 'Angus A Young Roofing Specialists' and are based in Central Scotland.
We employ young, local men to be trained in the skills that I have obtained who are part of a growing successful business, where our roofs stand out for their excellence, and our reputation keeps us strong.

Trossachs Church
Report
The picturesque and popular wedding venue of the Trossachs Church on the banks of Loch Achray was originally built in 1849 and was slated using the local (now discontinued) Aberfoyle quarry slate.
The nearest quarried equivalent is Burlington Best Random Diminishing Slates.
We were asked to renew the roof in exactly the same style of the original, which at first was a very challenging task due to the herring bone detail which had to be replicated exactly.
After some research, we are to understand that this is the only design in Great Britain of this unique style.
King's Park, Stirling
Report
When we were due to replace our leaking and dilapidated roof, we wanted to do so to a high standard and a traditional style in keeping with the age of the property (built 1901) and the requirements of the King's Park conservation area.
This was a major investment and it was very important to us to find a contractor with high standards and professional integrity.
From our first contact with Angus Young, when he provided us with a clear and comprehensive quotation, he was utterly professional.
He listened carefully to our requirements and provided helpful and impartial advice about appropriate materials, repair methods and costs.
Taynuilt, Oban
Report
The pitch on most flanks was as little as 20 degrees.
The clients first request of natural slate had proven impossible due to the high exposure zone of the West Coast of Scotland.
After liaising with the client, it was decided to go with Cambrian slates.
These are well suited for high exposure zones due to their triple fixings.
Cambrian slates can go down to a 15 degree pitch and for peace of mind are warranted for 60 years by the manufacturer.
The roof had been stripped approximately 10 years ago, UPVC Capping and fascia boards were fitted over rotten timbers.
