Business Details
We are Canonbury Roofing, a family-run business established in 1970. Our company was founded by my two uncles, who lived locally in the Highbury area and managed the day-to-day operations. I joined the firm in 1984 as an apprentice, learning all aspects of traditional pitched and flat roofing from them. Over the years, my uncles passed on a vast knowledge of materials and techniques that I still use today. I have now been roofing for over 25 years and run Canonbury Roofing myself. We specialise in asphalt flat roofs, waterproofing steps and thresholds, chimney stack work, and guttering. Recently, we have moved into the growing market of solar panel installation, working alongside Athiena Electrical in Stoke Newington.
Our team handles both large projects and smaller domestic work across Islington and the surrounding areas. We undertake work on listed buildings, new builds, and everything in between, from slating to lead work. Our reputation is built on providing high-quality workmanship and a reliable service to our clients. We pride ourselves on being professional, efficient, and completely trustworthy in every job we do. Client satisfaction remains at the heart of our operations, ensuring every roof we work on lasts for years to come.
