Shaun lead the Norman & Underwood team that won the NFRC 2015 award in the 'Fully Supported Metal Roofing' category. The project submitted was the traditional renewing of the copper cladding on the dome of Northumberland Observatory, Cambridge University, a building dating back to the 1830's. We are proud to have worked with many of the nations leading organisations committed to maintaining and restoring the heritage of Great Britain.

Organisation such as English Heritage & The Churches Conservation Trust. The Pitched Roofing Awards celebrate the achievements of the very best projects and people in the pitched roofing industry. It shines a light on the complex workmanship and high-quality products involved on the individual projects. We have been shortlisted for the category 'Best use of a Hard Metals Roof' with our Harborne Observatory dome roof.
