This has been one of our largest projects to date and has given this particular listed building a contemporary feel whilst still maintaining the character and charm of the original building.
Our contract with Skanska was to renew all roof coverings to the whole of the school building comprising to around 30000 tiles (Approximately 2800 square metres); whilst adhering to Skanska's exceptionally high levels of health and safety-which was necessary for this particular type of project.
This was an extremely challenging project as the building is Victorian, ageing from 1898 and is split over forty-eight individual roof elevations including flat, pitched and bonnet roofs.
